During sessions I will help you to identify connections between the things you do, say and feel in the present and how they may be related to your past experiences.
Learning to understand the connections between your past and present can help you start making decisions based on what you want or need now, rather than on what your past experiences drive you to do.
Psychotherapy can last from a few months to several years depending on the complexity of the difficulties.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) approved treatment for mild to moderate depression.
